Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to the old and classical boleros as well traditional ranchero, romantic and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of opera, tangos and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to sing and play music from an early age, along alongside her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical training in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. In 2000 she moved in America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She also sings in solo Latin American music for private celebrations and in the Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician she's committed to various community-based projects because of her love as well as a love of music. Ana is also a past singer in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to share her love for traditional Latin American music. She is hoping that it will encourage younger generations to keep the traditional music alive.
